Call for paper 2024 are open!

For the sixth edition of the Italian Robotics and Intelligent Machines conference, I-RIM opens the call for papers and proposes a series of events focused on the current and future scientific activities of a very lively community that is open to all stakeholders, to illustrate the results latest research and highlight the challenges of new technologies.

Participants can contribute to the conference by submitting:

  • Extended abstracts (and optional video):
    The accepted contributions will be presented during the conference poster sessions. Top-rated contributions will be presented during oral sessions. Deadline Sept. 20 30
  • Thematic workshops on key topics and research challenges. EXTENDED Deadline Aug. 31
  • Structured Challenges to prove the results of your research on realistic use cases. Deadline Aug. 2

 

Extended Abstracts

Prospective authors are invited to submit an extended abstract in English in all fields of robotics and intelligent machines, along with an optional video. The recommended length is 2 pages, but contributions of up to 4 pages are accepted with an additional fee.
We accept innovative contributions, position papers, and preliminary results, provided that their originality is well contextualized. Accepted submissions will be collected in the digital conference proceedings, along with the associated optional video. They will be made publicly available (Open Access Gold), digitally indexed (DOI) and citable.

Thematic Workshops

Prospective organizers are invited to submit a 2-page proposal specifying:

●  title, organizers with affiliations, and workshop format
●  description of objectives and main topics
●  speakers, with affiliations, and target audience
●  possible outcomes (e.g., publications, videos, further events)

Priority will be given to high quality workshop proposals with well-defined objectives and confirmed speakers.

Challenges

This year, I-RIM is pleased to announce two thematic challenges, designed to evaluate the real-world impact of cutting-edge research developed by the community. I-RIM 3D will feature two thrilling thematic competitions: one focused on Agriculture Robotics and the other on Quadruped Locomotion on irregular surfaces.
