According to the Statute, I-RIM intends to provide support for the organization of training courses by its members and supporters that respond to the needs of companies, to create highly qualified job opportunities and contribute to technology transfer.
Who are the supporting companies?
5.1 Supporting companies of the Institute are legal entities, public or private (businesses, universities and research bodies, institutions, associations) which, sharing the aims of the Institute, concretely support its action through donations of cash , goods or services.
5.2 Supporting companies are admitted by resolution of the Executive Board and can be divided in relation to their nature into different classes (…)
2024:
Dussmann Service, a leading company in the supply of cleaning and catering services.
The company is continuously seeking innovation in its field. Given the limited margins and the difficulty in finding personnel, the company is investing more and more in researching robotic solutions for its use cases. The company wants to support I-RIM such as it supports the Italian scientific community and sees great added value in the connection between businesses and academia.

- Industry 4.0 and Automation: Production of collaborative mobile manipulators (such as the TIAGo series) designed to work safely alongside human operators in factories.
- Human-Robot Interaction (HRI): Creation of social robots for receptions or events (such as ARI) capable of interacting, speaking, and displaying information to the public.
- Agri-food: Application of robotics and autonomous driving to optimize the agricultural production chain and sustainability.
