I-RIM, the Italian Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Machines, presented I-RIM 3D 2023, the 5th edition of the event on Robotics and Intelligent Machines.

I-RIM 3D 2023 took place in Rome from 20 to 22 October 2023, at Fiera di Roma, in synergy with Maker Faire Rome – the European Edition.

The General Chairs of this edition were Emanuele Menegatti and Marilena Vendittelli.

The event has been organized around three main thematic tracks:

• Scientific research: the 5th Italian Robotics and Intelligent Machines Conference (I-RIM Conference)
• Technology: an exposition of the newest projects and products in a dedicated area of the Maker Faire (I-RIM EXPO)
• Innovation: a competition for startups and teams of researchers which aims to promote innovative products and ideas to investors, companies, accelerators, and allow their development up to commercialization (I-RIM ROBOPITCH)

The activities of the three tracks ran in parallel, except for the Plenary Events
