On Sunday, October 27, I-RIM 3D 2024 came to a close, marking our annual meeting with the Robotics and Intelligent Machines community.
It was an exceptional event, full of inspiring moments and meaningful discussions, made possible thanks to the contributions of distinguished individuals and a top-tier program.

The numbers speak for themselves:

• 2 round tables on young talents in robotics and their role in today’s society
• 3 plenary sessions featuring international speakers
• 8 workshops with a total of 170 participants
• 102 abstracts accepted and presented in various oral and poster sessions
• 230 participants

Our two initiatives in synergy with the Maker Faire were a crossroads of innovation and scientific outreach.
In one pavilion, five teams of young researchers had the chance to challenge themselves and compete in two robotics competitions promoted by international companies.

Additionally, our 14 exhibition booths from 7 different institutions offered the public an opportunity to admire research prototypes and observe highly technological devices in action.

Finally, the social dinner at the enchanting Casina Valadier, nestled in the greenery of Villa Borghese, was an excellent opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas.

A huge thank you to all the organizers, chairs, participants, and everyone who contributed to this success.
