Call for contributions

I-RIM for the seventh edition of the Italian Conference of Robotics and Intelligent Machines opens the call for contributions and proposes a series of events focused on the current and future scientific activities of a very lively community that is open to all stakeholders, to illustrate the most recent research results and highlight the challenges of new technologies. Participants can contribute to the conference through:

 

  • Extended abstracts (and optional video). All accepted contributions will be associated with workshops based on the topics covered. In particular, in each workshop a one-hour slot will be reserved during which both the associated regular extended abstracts and the extended abstracts received in response to specific calls promoted by the workshop organizers will be presented through short oral presentations and a poster session.
  • Thematic workshops on key topics and new research challenges.
  • Challenges structured to test one’s research on realistic scenarios. – TBD.

 

Extended Abstracts

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit an extended abstract in English in all areas of robotics and intelligent machines, along with an optional video. The recommended length is 2 pages, but contributions up to 4 pages are accepted with additional payment. Innovative contributions, position papers and preliminary results will be accepted, provided that their originality is well contextualized. Accepted contributions will be collected in the digital proceedings of the conference, along with any videos. They will be freely accessible (Open Access Gold), digitally indexed (DOI) and citable.

Workshops

All interested parties are invited to submit a workshop proposal on topics related to Robotics and Intelligent Machines. Workshops may also present results from national and international project groups. All workshops will take place in person and will have a duration of 90 minutes. 

 

New for this year, an additional 1-hour session (15 minutes pitch + 45 minutes poster session) will follow each workshop. This session will host extended abstracts associated with the workshop. More details in the instructions below.
