ARTES 5.0

The ARTES 5.0 project brings together 18 Italian partners from different contexts, each of which represents large aggregations of skills and reference stakeholders for the transfer of technological knowledge and skills: from research centers to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Public Administration.

ARTES 5.0 aims to promote the diffusion of digital technologies, with a specific focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics by offering innovation services to SMEs and PAs to accelerate the digital and ecological transition.

I-RIM activities within this project concern matchmaking and skills development. This is specified in awareness-raising and orientation activities towards the digital transition.

In particular during the annual I-RIM 3D event in which networking and matchmaking are the watchwords, makes the Institute promoter, within the ARTES 5.0 project, of a perfect opportunity for their realization.

The Institute, in particular on this occasion, by organizing events with a scientific and technological content, provides researchers from Italian universities with the opportunity to interact directly with companies on available or possible technologies, updating them, and companies present their results and express their needs.

The event includes: an exhibition of the most recent projects and products; a specific technological match-making event between supply and demand with high technological content: RoboPitch, a “speed date event” between young professionals and job opportunities.

Added to this are debates between prominent personalities and the public on the hottest topics of the ongoing technological transformation: AI and robotics, training, valorisation of research, harmonization of public and private tools for technology transfer.

As regards awareness-raising and training activities, I-RIM organizes thematic courses and workshops, which fit perfectly within the ARTES 5.0 project.

These focus on innovative mechatronic solutions and approaches, the role of additive manufacturing in the era of industry 4.0, robotics for education, next generation components for robotics, human-robot systems, ethics, safety and human centricity, robotics of field and service.
